Language Policy

Currere and Praxis (C&P) accept manuscripts only in English. Authors could use either British (-ise) or American spelling for their manuscript; however, one style should be used consistently throughout the manuscript.

The manuscripts submitted to the journal should have a plain and clear language quality and should be consistent with the scientific literature and English language rules. Manuscripts should be written fluently and free of foreign words.

C&P journal provides a complimentary final basic proofreading service for accepted manuscripts to ensure that they meet the journal's language standards and are free of grammatical and typographical errors before publication.


Section Policy

Currere and Praxis (C&P) accept research, review, critical perspective articles, and pictorial essays.

Research Articles

Research articles should be highly scientific papers using qualitative, quantitative, mixed, and single-subject methodology and focusing on topics related to C&P journal aims and scope. C&P seeks submissions connecting applicable suggestions with quality practices. Theory, policy, and practice are expected to be tightly connected in the submitted papers.

Review Articles

Review articles should link theory and practice, and produce informative resources for educators, practitioners, and policymakers critically. C&P seeks submissions that are in line with its aims and scope and critically combines applicable proposals with quality practices. Theory, policy, and practice are expected to be tightly connected in the submitted papers.

Critical Perspective Articles

Critical discussion/perspective articles should focus on key concepts or common ideas in the C&P journal's aims and scope, discussing current advances or future directions from personal views and opinions. These articles should have an innovative, provocative, and original perspective between theory and practice in C&P journal aims and scope.

Pictorial Essays

Pictorial essays in C&P should seamlessly blend compelling visuals with concise, insightful text, exploring key themes within the journal's aims and scope. These essays must emphasize innovative visual storytelling to illuminate complex ideas, particularly where imagery is crucial. Accompanying text should offer critical context and analysis, presenting an original perspective that bridges theory and practice. By providing a creative, evocative exploration of relevant topics, these essays should significantly contribute to academic discourse through visual communication. Pictorial essays are published based solely on editorial review.
